Web sites
Web site design and development, Content Managed Systems (CMS), HTML mailers, microsites, e-commerce shopping basket sites, SEO – its all part of the integrated marketing jigsaw and JOC will deliver the full package with in-house control – on time and on budget.
Fact – if you search on ‘web design (your town)’ you will find multiple web design businesses that offer everything from brochure sites to e-commerce sites and Content Managed Systems (CMSs).
No surprise then that JOC can offer you a solution to your online requirements. We’ve been responsibly designing, developing, maintaining and hosting web sites for eight years now and take pride that we always deliver what is expected and stick on the job until the client is satisfied.
We don’t ‘sell on price’ either but recent research tells us that our sites are generally competitively priced
At JOC we don’t just design web-sites – we make sure that we deliver a web site that meets your objectives. That means from the very early stages we ensure we understand exactly what it is you’re trying to achieve. If you’re a web based business you need the ‘whistles and bells’ if you’re not a web based business maybe you need something very simple.
Where to start? – What do i need?
The easiest answer to that is to give us a call at JOC and discuss what you’re trying to achieve – and it’s well worth the phone call if only to get a second opinion. Helping clients to increase awareness in their business, increase enquiry levels and help them develop is what we do every day. We may be able to help you and almost certainly we’ll save you money and make your budget go further.
I know what I want!
Still no excuse not to call us – we have an advocacy style and pull things to pieces to make sure they work and deliver. In this business all that glitters definitely isn’t gold so talk to the experts at JOC for a second opinion and make a splash online.
Content Managed Systems (CMSs)
If you need complete control over adding or removing content from your web site then this is for you. No technical skills are required and it’s impossible to cause damage to the structure of the site. We like them….
What’s good about them…
They allow a business to keep their site up to date – which ‘in theory’ creates a reason for revisiting the site to see what’s new. This could be pricing information, new products or new sales campaign. Essential for e-marketing sites. Theoretically can save on external agency costs to update content.
What’s bad about them…
Dispelling the theories first – unless your business site is e-marketing or called www.bbc.co.uk, or any other ultra high page ranked site, visitors are very unlikely to revisit more than once unless you tell them too – so although keeping content up to date is important its unlikely to have any effect on revisits – even Amazon have to keep dragging (sorry directing!) visitors to their site.
If you only need to make occasional amends to a web site you’d be surprised just how much work an agency can cram into an hour – far more than a CMS user – which brings us to the final point – regardless of a CMS being used on a site businesses need to be aware that, if they have enough updates to believe they can justify a CMS, then they are potentially creating a full time clerical job.
